See How Some Companies are Improving Productivity, While Giving Thier Workers More Time Off

Amazon, one of the biggest companies in the world, is currently testing out a 30 hour workweek (6 hours a day), on a few employees to see how this will affect thier productivity. This is as a result of growing evidence which seems to show that employees who spend less time in the office waste less time and are actually more productive than employees who spend all day at their desksOne company tried this experiment and did not look back. On 1 June 2015, Stephan Aarstol, CEO ot Tower Paddle Boards (a tech company), moved his entire company to a 5-hour workday. He asked his employees to arrive by 8am and leave by 1pm.

It was an experiment that was supposed to last 3 months. One year later, the experiment is still running. It worked so well, that the company decided to make it permanent. The results speak for themselves. Since the experiment began, all of the company's numbers, including annual revenue improved dramatically

So what could be the reason for this seemingly illogical outcome? Analysts say it may be the scarcity of hours (i.e. having less time for work) that actually forces the employees to be more efficient, creating periods of heightened productivity called "focus dividends".

E no go bad if Nigerian companies try this experiment sha. Instead of suspending thier Nigerian operations anyhow.
