According to Us Weekly, a source claims that Angelina Jolie Pitt "feels like a weight has been lifted" after filing for divorce from Brad Pitt
"This has been coming for some time. This is a very difficult period for the family," the source said. "It was such a difficult decision and it was so hard for her to make. Now that she has made it she knows it was the right thing."
As previously reported, Jolie Pitt's rep confirmed to Us that the actress, 41, is ending her two-year marriage to Pitt, 52, and that the decision was made "for the health of the family."
TMZ also reported that she is asking for physical custody of their six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8 — with visitation for Pitt. Last year, the Fury actor told The Telegraph that the couple were "aiming for a dozen" kids, but "crapped out" after six.
