Ogun State Governor Appoints Igbo and Kogi Perm Secs

The Governor of Ogun State, Governor Governor Ibikunle Amosun has appointed fourteen permanent secretaries. Of the newly appointed secretaries, Ndimele Emmanuel Ofor is a native of Abia state, while  Mr. Ipinniwa Steve is originally from Kogi State.

The fourteen new perm secs were sworn in at the Governor's office in Abeokuta.

Amosun said, “I believe that if someone has been serving in a place for 20, 30 years he can no longer be called a non-indigene. He has been with us and he has worked with us. He is now part of us. He cannot be called a non-indigene, and in any event, it will be unfair and unjust to deprive someone who worked for you his deserved elevation on account of where he comes from.”

Three gboza for the governor! In this times wey allman dey talk about tribalism and marginalisation, na this kind news we dey like hear. Carry go, Mr fine boi Governor, nothing do you. We dey ya back.
