Natural Hair Tips : Treatment for Damaged Hair

My fellow naturalistas! I am crazy about using my kitchen stuffs on my hair, like Cordilia Parrish calls it, "one stop shop". Imagine a plate of salad containing avocado, boiled eggs, mayo, tomatoes and onions?

Hmmmm! As good as it tastes, your hair needs that plate too.

EGG- Yolk is rich in fats and protein, it’s naturally moisturizing, and then the white contains bacteria eating enzymes which help in removing unwanted hair. f your hair is not damaged, u can use an entire egg, but use the white only to treat oily hair, and the yolk only for dry hair. Use 1/2 cup of whichever u want, massage on your hair leave on for 20min, then rinse with cold water, then shampoo. Whole egg treatment once a month and yolk and white only 2 a month.

FOR DULL HAIR
Excess chemicals and build ups rids our hair of its brightness, we end up with dull looking hair, well its time to revamp our hair and bring back its God given brightness. All you need is dairy products like sour cream and plain yogurt... they contain lactic acid which helps in stripping away dirt from your hair, and the fat in the milk moisturizes.
Use 1/2 cup of either yogurt or sour cream, apply to damp hair, and let it sit for 20min rinse with warm water, cool water, and then shampoo. Treatment every 2wks.

ITCHY SCALP
OMG! This aspect is not funny, imagine scratching your hair in public and you’re wearing a black top, and imagine the flakes that will be landing on that top? Hmmm embarrassing. Well this is its final bus stop, try this.
Lemon juice olive oil water 2 tbsp each. Mix and apply, massaging to scalp, let it sit 20min, then rinse and then shampoo. Treatment every 2weeks. The lemon juice rids the scalp of loose dry flakes and olive oil moisturizes.

DRY DAMAGED HAIR
Has your hair been damaged by sun or excess use of heat on your hair? Whatever dehydrating agent left your hair dry and brittle, honey is your solution. Honey has natural humectants, thus attracts and locks moisture.
1/2 Cup on damp hair, leave 20min rinse with warm water, u could add 2tbs olive oil for easy application. If your hair is extremely dry, u can add avocado, or egg yolk to replace the damaged keratin protein. Treatment once a month.
Any of the above could be left longer than 20min, the longer the better.

Let’s have your feedback when u try!!!!
