Blackout Hits Lagos International Airport For Over 2 Hours

Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos was reportedly in crisis on Monday after a black out that lasted for more than two hours.

Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu, who was bombarded with pictures by stranded passengers, posted them online.

He wrote: “Power outage at Murtala Muhammed International Airport since over two hours and the place is reportedly in big crisis!”

“We implore those in charge of Murtala Muhammed International Airport to save Nigeria from this endless ignominy!”

“I’m being bombarded with ugly pictures from concerned Nigerians at Murtala Muhammed International Airport!”

“Stranded passengers are pleading with whoever can reach President BUHARI & VP OSINBAJO to do so urgently!”

No power for 2 hours in an international airport??? What a huge shame.
